Daniel L. Rogers was appointed Chairman of the Potter County Republican Party in July 2018. With extensive experience as a businessman, cattleman, licensed water and sewer operator, real estate investor, real estate broker, property manager, brush site operator and recycler, problem solver, and property tax consultant, Rogers brings a unique perspective to his role.

Recognizing the need for better voter engagement, Rogers swiftly developed a platform to connect conservative Republicans across the country in a cost-efficient and practical way. His strategy, which focused on informing, educating, and inviting voters to events, proved effective within four months. This was evident as Potter County shifted from a traditional 50/50 Democrat-Republican split to a 28/72 Republican majority in the 2018 election, while other Texas counties saw Republican losses. Under Rogers’ leadership, Potter County saw a remarkable 44-point swing toward Republican candidates.

Locally, Rogers has recruited precinct chairs who share his vision of voter engagement and empowerment, prioritizing voters’ interests over those of elected officials. Several precinct chairs have since launched campaigns for higher offices, from Constable to Congress.
